Morocco got their campaign at this year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations off to a positive start after edging debutant Burkina Faso 1-0 in the opening game of the tournament on Saturday.

Chebbak Ghizlane was the hero for Morocco in the Group A opener, after scoring the only goal of the game in the 29th minute.

Ghizlane netted from a well taken free kick which the Burkina Faso keeper failed to deal with.
