Miss Universe Philippines contestant and beauty advocate Ayn Bernos roasted her TikTok followers (read: trolls) who accused her of being “bayaran” (paid) after the writer-entrepreneur posted a video of her strutting in a pink outfit to the tune of BoA’s “Woman”.

The Morena, the Label founder was quickly at the receiving end of backlash after she posted the 8-second video — some by newly created accounts with few followers and similar video posts of a particular candidate.
Not that Ayn needed any help in the clapback department, though: like the fierce Q&A queen she is, the Miss Universe finalist handled the comment storm with class.

(“Where did you get that rate? Is that your price?”)
(“If that’s your first assumption, it’s because you can’t stand for anything without getting paid.”)
Then there were those who simply had a bone to pick with on her chosen candidate:
Then there were those who couldn’t fathom the idea of an individual making informed choices, labelling Ayn as “brainwashed”:
(“I don’t need to be brainwashed to watch candidates’ debates and interviews. It’s obvious who has the competence.”)
