Barcelona are continuing to offer Antoine Griezmann to clubs across Europe.
Marca says Barcelona have yet to open talks with Griezmann’s representatives regarding a potential pay cut, as he is not one of the highest-paid players in the squad.
However, the 30-year-old is one of Barcelona’s most valuable assets and they are willing to cash in on certain players to balance their books as they look to make space in terms of their salary cap, with LaLiga currently prohibiting them from registering Lionel Messi and the club’s four signings next season.
Griezmann was open to the idea of returning to Atletico Madrid, but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement and that possibility seems to be fading away with each passing day, although it should not be ruled out completely.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are trying to find other potential suitors, with Griezmann focusing on the team’s pre-season preparations.
