PETALING JAYA: Berjaya Assets Bhd’s (BAssets) wholly-owned subsidiary Berjaya Bright Sdn Bhd has disposed of 6.04 million shares in 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd for RM8.59 million cash via a direct business transaction.

According to the group’s Bursa filing, the disposed share is equivalent to a 0.54% stake in the company and translates to RM1.421 per share.

Following the disposal, the group now holds 8.24 million shares in 7-Eleven, which translates to a 0.73% equity interest.

The consideration sum was arrived at after taking into consideration the prevailing market prices of 7-Eleven shares at the time of disposal.
