Crystal Palace midfielder Eberichi Eze is ahead of schedule in his recovery from an Achilles injury.

There were initial fears the Palace star, 23, would be out until the new year after sustaining the problem in training at the back end of last season.

But he is back running and doing ball work already – as he revealed himself in an online clip on Tuesday to the delight of fans, reports The Sun.

That is earlier than the club expected and now there is an outside chance he could even return to action next month.

The Eagles will understandably be cautious with the attacking midfielder though and will look to integrate him slowly back into the first-team squad.
