The Sun says Shearer – who was a BBC pundit at Old Trafford on Monday – has called Rashford to help him get out of his slump.

They report that the Newcastle legend ‘offered him tips on handling the pressure and expectation’ and ‘convinced him that he can come through’ this rough patch.

They finish by reporting that Shearer offered his services to Rashford whenever he needed to chat in the future.
