Former Enyimba captain Ifeanyi Anaemena has disclosed that starting his football career abroad in the Saudi Arabian league is a good thing for him.
Speaking with Lagos-based Brila FM,  Anaemena said it is now time for him to prove his capacity on a foreign land, having played for so many years in Nigeria.
“I think  it’s better an offer comes to you especially, having played in the npfl league for a long time and I have been expecting to play out side the shores of Nigeria before.”
“I think Saudi Arabia is a good environment for me, a good place for me to start my football outside Nigeria and when the offer came I have to take it and given a good trials this first season, I will get a better offer but I think its good for me at the moment.”
Anaemena spent the last season with Rivers United after ending his long term relationship with Enyimba.
