Spanish side, Getafe, have received offers from clubs or Marc Cucurella.
The left-back is an attractive option for Brighton in the Premier League, per The Argus.
The seagulls are keen to secure the former Barcelona defender, who is currently with Spain at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Cucurella has a buyout clause of £15 million, but Getafe hope he will stay put.
Their President Angel Torres said: “We have had several offers, the strongest is from an English team that continues to persist and that has offered him a good contract and he was ready.
“Now when he comes back we will see if he stay but I think not.”
