Nigeria’s Super Eagles go into their final Group D match knowing their place in the Africa Cup of Nations last 16 is already secured.
A 1-0 victory over Egypt in their opening game set the tone, before a 3-1 win over Sudan sent Nigeria through to the knockout stages with a game to spare.

That means they have the luxury of resting players should they choose, thought Nigeria would be the only team with a perfect record in the group stage should they win tonight.
For Guinea-Bissau, there is far more resting on the match. A draw against Sudan is the only point they have managed in the tournament so far, but with the four best third-placed teams making it through to the last 16, there is every chance that a shock win against the Super Eagles could send them through.
With Nigeria able to play without any pressure and Guinea-Bissau having to go for the win, it’s set up to be a thrilling match.
