Comedian Baba De Baba has said he stands with Oyedepo following the sack of multiple pastors who were “unfruitful”. A pastor, Peter Godwin, had granted an interview claiming he and over 40 other pastors were given sack letters because they were not generating enough income from their branches (read here). Another pastor, InChristed Michael, spoke up, claiming even more pastors were fired in Lagos and Benue state over low-income generation (read here). Reacting, Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners Chapel Worldwide, said the pastors were fired because they were “unfruitful, blatant failure” (read here). Oyedepo’s statement has divided people, with many opposing him and some defending him. Supporting Oyedepo, Baba De Baba said “church in Nigeria is business” and any pastor who cannot win “rich souls” should be fired. Read what he wrote below. The post “I stand with Oyedepo. Church is business,” Comedian Baba de Baba says any pastor who can’t win “rich souls” should be fired appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.

  1. Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole
thing. Do you have any helpful hints for rookie blog writers?
    I’d certainly appreciate it.
