The Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, has warned that any civil servant who doesn’t come to work on Monday, August 30, will be fired. Residents in the South East have continued to observe the IPOB sit-at-home order every Monday to protest the arrest of leader of the proscribed group, Nnamdi Kanu, despite the group’s suspension of the order. Speaking at an All Progressives Congress stakeholders meeting, in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state, on Sunday, Umahi threatened that in addition to sacking workers who do not show up to work today, they will not be paid. He also added that traders who do not open their places of business today risk losing their shops to the government.  The post IPOB sit-at-home: Ebonyi Gov.
