Jake Paul still has his unbeaten record intact after a split-decision points win over Tyron Woodley on Sunday night, August 29, in Cleveland. The YouTube star was wobbled by a right hand from the former UFC welterweight world champion. But he recovered to edge a narrow win by scores of 77-75, 75-77 and 78-74 in what was his fourth professional fight.  “He’s a tough opponent,” admitted Paul. “He’s been fighting for 20 years, I’ve been doing this for three years. “It was a tougher fight than I expected. All respect to Tyron; he’s a hall of famer… he’s a good boxer. There was a lot of s*** talk back and forth but this is a dream come true.” Paul had called out Woodley shortly after his win over Ben Askren in April and the Missouri native’s release from the UFC ensured a swift conclusion to negotiations. Woodley, 39, had reigned as the promotion’s welterweight champion for five fights over two years but had lost his last four bouts in the cage. The social media star’s first-round stoppage of the MMA veteran followed similar wins over fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib and former NBA star Nate Robinson. The post Jake Paul beats former UFC champion Tyron Woodley to remain undefeated appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
