American singer, Justin Bieber, and rapper, Megan The Stallion have seen their names appear the most times in the 2021 MTV VMAs Nominations list.

The nominations list for the MTV VMAs 2021 was released on Wednesday, the 11th of August 2021. It saw Justin Bieber bag seven nods, while Megan Thee Stallion had the second most nominations with six.

Both Justin Bieber and Megan Thee Stallion were nominated in the Artist of the Year category. They’ll be going up against Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, and Olivia Rodrigo, a first-time nominee.

Other artists with multiple nominations for the 2021 MTV VMAs include Drake, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, BTS, Lil Nas X, and Giveon who got give nods apiece. The VMAs will hold at the Barclays Center in New York on Sunday, the 12th of August 2021.
