Harry Kane netted a brace in his first start of the season for Tottenham as he helped them advance in the Europa Conference League.
Spurs trailed 1-0 on aggregate heading into Thursday night’s second leg against Pacos de Ferreira at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Kane captained his boyhood club and it only took him nine minutes to score his first goal of the 2021/22 campaign.
Bryan Gil laid it off to Kane who was able to find the bottom corner. The forward scored his second in the 34th minute. He latched onto some shoddy defending to score after Andre Ferreira saved Giovani Lo Celso’s shot.
