Two players from the Kenneth Omeruo Academy Abuja, Obinna Okere Martins and Kargbo Samuel, have joined Spanish Segunda Division club CD Leganes.

Kargbo Samuel, who is from Sierra Leone, has teamed up with the Leganes U19 team, while midfielder Martins, who was involved with the last Flying Eagles, will be with the U23s.

Both players have signed long-term deals.

Super Eagles defender Omeruo owns the academy, which is based in the Nigerian capital city of Abuja where he started his football career.
