Gennaro Gattuso will reportedly leave Napoli after the current campaign and Luciano Spalletti could replace the Calabrian.
The newspaper reports Gattuso’s time with the Partenopei is certainly over after the 2020-21 season and the Azzurri are searching for his replacement at the Stadio Diego Maradona.
Former Juventus and Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is the dream, according to the report, which also mentions a possible move for Hellas Verona tactician Ivan Juric.
But the former Inter and Roma coach Spalletti seems to be in pole position for the role at Castel Volturno.
The 62-year-old has been without a job since he left Inter in May 2019, but has experience with teams like Udinese, Roma and Zenit St Petersburg.
Spalletti won two Coppa Italia during his time with Roma and picked up two League titles and one Russian Cup with Zenit.
