Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has charged his personnel to brace up for the challenges ahead of them, as the Corps under his leadership is poised to deliver on its mandate as well as synergize with other security agencies towards stemming the general insecurity in the country.

The CD made the charge today during the Passing Out Parade of batch 7 of Arms Training at the national headquarters in Abuja.

He said their passing out came at a period the nation is passing through intensive security challenges, and as the forms and manifestations of insecurity are constantly evolving, law enforcement responses have to equally evolve in order to stay ahead of the criminals.

In his words; “To the graduands of today, the successful completion of rigorous training of this nature no doubt has impacted you with a sense of self-esteem and accomplishment. You must therefore maintain that spirit of accomplishment as you prepare to face the tasks ahead of you. We all have very high expectations that you will greatly contribute your quota to the sustenance of our national security.”

Audi reiterated that under his watch, the Corps will not tolerate any issue of accidental discharge, as it is an aberration under his own administration.

He said the Corps is currently undergoing a period of self-renewal, therefore, indiscipline, unprofessional conduct, disloyalty to the system, disobedience to constituted authority, and insubordination will be ruthlessly dealt with.
