Pedri and Eric Garcia are back in training with Barcelona following their Olympic adventure with Spain where they won a silver medal.

The Spanish youngsters are the last players to link up with their squad after their summer commitments, giving Ronald Koeman a boost ahead of the LaLiga Santander opener against Real Sociedad.

The pair trained at the Ciutat Esportiva in Barcelona on Wednesday but it was on Thursday where they were able to partake in the collective session.

It remains to be seen whether Koeman decides to name them in the squad for this weekend’s game.

The two participated in both the European Championship and Olympic Games, and while Garcia didn’t play much for Manchester City last season, Pedri has had an exhausting campaign, playing 73 matches in total.
