Aubameyang refuses to clarify Arsenal future

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has refused to clarify his future following the FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.

Aubameyang, who finished as the second top-scorer in the Premier League in the recent campaign, has seen his future shrouded by speculation in recent months.

The former Borussia Dortmund man has entered the final 12 months of his deal at the Emirates Stadium and, if no new deal is secured, would be free to leave on a free transfer next year – potentially following in the footsteps of Aaron Ramsey two years ago.

Speaking after the FA Cup final, Aubameyang failed to quell speculation on his future after refusing to clarify whether he will remain at the Emirates Stadium.

Ozil breaks silence

Mesut Ozil has issued a message to his teammates following the victory in the FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.

The club’s highest earner has not featured for Mikel Arteta’s side since a 1-0 victory in the Premier League against West Ham in March, failing to appear for a single minute since the season resumed in June.

However, taking to social media after the final whistle, he sent a message of congratulations to his teammates after the win against their London rivals.

The Gunners defeated their London rivals 2-1, with Aubameyang scoring a brace to fire Arteta’s side to glory after Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for the Blues.
