Rangers have completed the signing of Manchester United midfielder Charlie McCann.

The 19-year-old midfielder leaves Old Trafford having come through the academy. The deal is reportedly worth around £750,000 and will see the player link up with Rangers’ B team first before trying to break into their first-team. McCann joins on a three-year deal.

Speaking to Rangers’ official website, McCann said; “I’m delighted to get the move over the line, I was obviously really excited when I heard the news and I knew that it was a no brainer. I can’t wait to get started now and I’m looking forward to it.

“It’s just unreal [Ibrox] it’s such a great experience and I can’t wait to see what it will be like when there is a full house of fans!
