Romelu Lukaku has reportedly suggested two of his former Inter Milan teammates as a possible signing for Chelsea during the next transfer window. The Blues are in need of a new defender following the exit of Kurt Zouma and the failure of signing Jules Kounde from Sevilla.
According to reports Sport Mediaset, a media outlet in Italy on Monday, September 13th, 2021, Lukaku suggested Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar to Thomas Tuchel as the possible option for the Stamford Bridge club.
Bastoni is in the third year of his contract with Inter Milan. He will be out of contract until the summer of 2024. The central defender was part of the Italian team that won the Euro 2020. Meanwhile, Skriniar has played over 170 games for Inter Milan and he was part of the Slovakia national team that qualified for Euro 2020.
Chelsea is currently second in the Premier League, with ten points, three wins, and a draw. Lukaku has scored three goals for the Blues this season.
