Nigerian songstress, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has broken yet another record as she becomes the first African act to appear on two songs on the internationally sought-after Billboard Hot 100.

In the most recent update, Tems, who is set to release a new body of work titled “if orange was a place” tomorrow, September 15th, 2021, became the first African act to appear twice on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time.

The songstress appears at number 26 on the chart alongside Drake on Fountains and equally appears at number 34 on the chart alongside Wizkid and Justin Bieber on Essence (Remix)’
