Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger, revealed that he was a target for his current boss Thomas Tuchel at Paris Saint-Germain.
The German defender has become an integral part of the Blues side since his countryman took over from Frank Lampard halfway through last season.
Tuchel’s preference for Rudiger at Chelsea has also resulted in the transfer of Kurt Zouma to West Ham United, with the latter being a favorite of Lampard.
“Yes, this is true,” Rudiger told Sky Sports.
“At the beginning of last season, I wasn’t a favourite here, so there was an option and I was thinking about leaving and PSG was my number one target.
“It didn’t happen for these reasons and at the end of the day, he came here.”
