The Gyspy King as he is popularly called confirmed the news on his official Instagram account on Monday, September 26th, 2022. According to to Fury, the deadline given to Joshua was over and the fight will not be happening again.

Well guys, it’s official. D-Day has come and gone, it’s gone past 5’o’clock Monday and no contract has been signed. It’s officially over for Joshua, he’s now out in the cold with the wolf pack. Forget about it. Idiot, coward, s***house, bodybuilder. Always knew you didn’t have the minerals to fight the Gyspy King. Regardless of what you say now, I don’t really care. Good luck with your career and your life, end of.

The fight was supposed to give Joshua a chance at the table or a form of redemption in the boxing ring following his defeats in recent fights. Joshua recently lost for a second time to Oleksandr Usyk. However, it looks like he would be out of the heavyweight title picture in the near future.
