Raphael Varane went to Real Madrid’s training ground on Friday to bid farewell to his now former teammates after agreeing to join Manchester United.

The Frenchman was welcomed by Los Blancos president Florentino Perez, who posed alongside Varane with Real Madrid’s trophies in the background and gave him a heartfelt farewell hug.

Then, Varane took to the pitch at Valdebebas where he gave a speech to his former teammates. He couldn’t hold back his tears, being visibly moved by the fact he is departing the club he has been at since 2011.
